These custom coupling nuts were manufactured using mild steel material with zinc clear finish.  1/2-13 thread was tapped all the way through the part at an overall length of 3/4″.  5/8″ across the flats bar stock was used to produce these parts.

We had slightly over 10,000 pieces of the custom flat stamped nuts manufactured using mild steel material with zinc clear finish. Outside dimensions measured 22.86mm X 16mm with thickness set to 6mm. M8-1.25 6h thread was tapped with its center approximately 5.6mm from the edge of the nut. 6mm is probably the maximum thickness to allow stamping for this size nut without exhibiting too much variation in thickness along the profile.

We had 12,000 pieces of these large custom precision cam nuts manufactured in mild steel for our construction component manufacturer. Overall length measured 91.7MM and max OD at the base was set to 23.88MM. M8 X 1.25 6g thread was incorporated on both sides and M12 X 1.75 6h thread was tapped in the center of the base. Both shoulders were tuned to a 13.37-13.48MM diameter. Material certs and certificate of conformance was provided with the parts.

We supplied our defense customer with these custom 4140 precision 10-24 nuts after getting an initial sample run completed and tested. Tight tolerances were required on these parts, with most dimensions at +.000/-.005 or +.000/-.003 inches. Overall thickness of the nuts was set at .155″ and 10-24 class 2B thread tapped all the way through. Full production of this part was at 20,000 pieces and lead time at approximately 75-90 days from order confirmation.

We had 10,000 pieces of these custom coupling nuts with nylon patch produced for our customer using 18-8 stainless steel material with partial internal thread.  The drilled hole depth was at 19MM max and 16MM of that depth was to be threaded.  Across the flats measures .500″ and overall length at 1.5″.  The undrilled side required a 45 degree chamfer resulting in a .40″ diameter round base.  Nylon patch was applied at 180 degrees after the first 2 threads.

Pictured here is a custom stainless steel hex coupling nuts we supply our drone manufacturing customer.  Production is done in the USA in 18-8 stainless steel material, with passivation as the final step in the production process.  Lead times vary depending on the quantity required and rush options are typically available upon request.  When usage volumes exceed 25K pieces or so we typically switch production to one of our overseas partners to optimize cost per piece.

These large quantities would be best supplied on a 12 month blanket purchase order basis.  The Blanket Order concept allows the customer to access the large quantity cost savings without paying upfront for the entire large quantity order. Instead we take on the burden of carrying the bulk inventory and only release the parts as needed, or often on a pre-scheduled basis provided by the customer.

These custom partial hex coupling nuts measure M6 – 1.0M X 22MM and are domestically made using 18-8 stainless steel material. The hex height is set at 6MM and hex across the flats at 10mm. The round standoff portion is set to 8mm for the outside diameter. All dimensions had +/-.01MM tolerance. Lead time to get these parts produced was approximately 6-8 weeks from production start. Material certs were available upon request with the parts.
